Frequently Asked Questions

  • It is important to train your dog from the first day they arrive home. This will help create good habits and boundaries from the start and will prevent bad behaviors from becoming habits.

  • In order to begin training, please sign up for the program you would like. Once the program is purchased, we will be in touch with you to schedule your first session.

  • Sessions can be scheduled Monday-Friday 10 AM – 6:30 PM.

  • In-person sessions are 1 hour long, and virtual sessions are 45 minutes long. All sessions are customized to your specific needs. Lesson plans and email support are provided between sessions.

  • Sessions are scheduled usually on a weekly basis. It is recommended to complete a training program no later than 3 months from the purchase date. Sessions that are not used 6 months after the purchase date will be deemed as lost.

  • All major credit cards, and Venmo are accepted forms of payment.

  • Cancellations must be made 48 hours before a scheduled session, otherwise it will be counted as used.

  • An email will be sent to you the day before your session with specific instructions for feeding (or not) your pup prior to the session. Please have your pup’s favorite treats handy, as well as a harness and standard 3-5ft long nylon leash.

  • During the group classes, your puppy will learn essential basic obedience commands, as well as key socialization skills.

  • We accept from 3-7 puppies per course to keep the class size small and give each puppy the attention they deserve.

  • We do not offer refunds. If you would like to transfer your sessions to another client, we are happy to do that provided they use the sessions before they expire.

  • Proof of distemper and parvo shots are required for attendance.
